Bailey bridge is a type of portable, pre-fabricated, truss bridge. It was developed for emergency use and is now a standard bridge equipment adopted extensively worldwide. It features a simple structure, convenient transport, speedy erection, and easy disassembling.
Advantages include heavy loading capacity, great stability, and long fatigue life. It is capable of alternative spans and various mixture forms to erect temporary bridges, emergency bridges, and fixed bridges. The bridge consists of few components, ensuring light weight and cost-efficiency.
Suitable load designs include HS-15, HS-20, HS-25, HL-93, and pedrail-50, with surface disposal options including painting, galvanizing, or anti-skid polyurethane bonded bauxite systems.
